Born in Honduras, Central America, Byron has always been eager for knowledge and obsessed with capturing the obvious and hidden beauty of the world. He began as a self-taught photographer, always aiming at stretching the boundaries of his own vision. His keen interest in art and design play a key role in influencing his photography.
“My work is defined by light, texture, and multiple exposure techniques. What inspires me every day is light and all of its possibilities. While shooting my photographs I thrive on naturally evolving them as if I were painting. I go through a development of building layers of light and use post processing tools. I love “found moments” outdoors with dramatic lighting, environments and subject matter. Perspective is the most important tool in a photographer’s arsenal these days; with the industry flooded with talent and our camera-crazy culture. Making viewers see the common everyday world from unique and extreme points of view, is what I am most passionate about.”
Byron currently lives in Boston, USA.
